John & Shawnra came after the game had started and I didn't get a picture of them together. :-( This is Shawnra with her crochetingAnd this is John in the playroom with some of the kiddos.
Rams and Broncos fans enjoying the Super Bowl
The ladies all had projects to work on while we watched the game.
Julie's project was a leetle stressful at times.
Amanda helping decipher the pattern (Brent pretending he knows what he's looking at)
Justice made some yummy half-time margaritas.
The youngest fan with her dad
The kids stayed busy around the house while we watched the game.
This is the best game ever, Horton Hears a Who! The tip of the trunk is velcro and the balls are fuzzy. They have to wear Horton's head and run around finding balls, picking them up without using their hands (only the trunk), and racing back to the starting point. Silly and fun!
Cora has several stuffed animals that are mice and since mice like cheese, she was rooting for the Packers (Evalyn from church even crocheted a tiny cheese hat for her to put on one of her mice! I didn't get a picture of it, unfortunately). Her mom said that when they got home after the game her brother (below) asked, "Did the Packers win and are your mice happy?"Notice the plethora of food behind Teddy.
Cheese!Balloon!!!
A little fun after the game
AGAIN! AGAIN!!
We did have one minor mishap at the end of the night. How is it that little heads can always find that one hard corner? And before you gasp at my taking a picture of a wounded child (Erik did when he saw it), please know that it was his parents who said, "Where's the camera?!" Immediately after posing for this, said wounded child asked to see the picture. Boys. :-)
It was a great afternoon--good friends, good food, good game. And, in case you missed it . . .
