Ben called just as I was leaving work to say that Sophi wouldn't get up. When I got home we had a little snuggle time, and then took her to the vet. The mass had burst.

Christel, I'm so sorry. I just checked your blog tonight -- I'm so sorry to hear about Sophi. What a horrible tragedy. My prayers to both you and for her journey into the spirit world, which is where I honestly believe she is still by your side. Mary H.

Craig, Zach, and I are so sorry to hear about Sophi. We told Zach about his very first friend, Sophi. She took him under her wing and showed him the ropes of the residence halls. He is very greatful. His ears still perk up when you say Sophi's name. He has been sad all day. We think he's a bit mad too. He has been one naughty boy! Sophi's spirit will live on in all of her friends' lives (animal and human)! :)
